Healing With the Chakras T
he Florida School of Holistic Living in Orlando will host this class on Saturday, August 15 from 10am to 4pm. Experience focused awareness into these seven powerful body centers of energy, and learn how to restore them for optimal physical, spiritual and emotional health. Each chakra will be defi ned:
1. Name and description 2. Signs of balance, excesses and defi ciencies 3. Associated colors, elements and bodily functions 4. Physical and spiritual practices to help bring balance
This 6-hour workshop includes an experiential component comprised of two one-hour yoga practices. The fi rst Asana practice will include a chakra-focused fl ow (this practice is available to people of all levels of experience and ability). The second will be an hour-long Yoga Nidra going deep into our upper chakras. Tuition is $99 and includes a lunch break. Instructor Frank de la Cruz received his 200-hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in October 2010. Since then Frank has focused on the Subtle (Energetic) body through the study of the chakras. Frank currently teaches Hatha, Yin, and Restorative Yoga and is Assistant Director of the 200-hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at Everything Zen Yoga. 6 CEUs are available for Registered Yoga Teachers via the Yoga Alliance and to Florida Licensed Massage Therapists.
