Policy Conference T
HE FALL MEETING FOR TEXAS AND SOUTH- western Cattle Raisers Association
(TSCRA) is being modifi ed to focus on pol- icy issues of interest to association mem- bers and any others involved in ranching and the stewardship of private property. Because of this change in purpose, the name of the fall meeting has been changed to TSCRA Policy Conference. All TSCRA members are invited to at-
tend the conference. The TSCRA Policy Conference will offer
an in-depth perspective and broad range of sessions highlighting the intersection of ranching and public policy. Topics will include private property
rights, water rights, feeder cattle market- ing, animal health issues, the latest uni- versity research, and much more. Partici- pants will include ranchers, landowners, academics and public policy makers from around the region.

• Todd Armstrong, senior director of beef operations, Elanco Animal Health
• David Lehman, managing director of Commodity Research and Product De- velopment, CME Group
• Evelyn Browning-Garriss, historic cli- matologist and editor, The Browning Newsletter
• All TSCRA policy committees will meet during the Policy Conference to con- sider new policy and renew existing policies.
