. . . as its textile decorating technology achieves Oeko-Tex class 1 certification
T
he accreditation of Oeko-Tex Standard 100 product class I has been given for inkjet printing on polyester fabric with the companyʼs Texart ink, which is used for the TexartRT-640, the companyʼs latest dye sublimation transfer printer. Oeko-Tex Standard 100 class I ensures that printed textile items are safe for babies and toddlers. The Texart RT-640 was developed to be used for a wide range of textile decoration applications, including sports and fashion apparel.
Another innovation was the launch of the
Texart ink, which is available in both four (CMYK) and eight colour versions (CMYK plus light cyan, light magenta, orange and violet). The RT-640ʼs variable droplet technology in

combination with Texart ink displays bold, vibrant colours and rich velvety blacks, as well as subtle gradations and fine details.

Learn new skills at Kornit Digital Europeʼs summer school
T
aking place this month in Germany are Kornit Digitalʼs new summer school training sessions. Topics covered in the
sessions will include education on file preparation, linearisation colour management, material science of textiles and more. Participants will be able
take part in hands-on sessions, where they can put into practice what they have learnt and talk with other Kornit users.
The number of places is limited to eight each session. Kornit says that previous participants have been able to improve printing results and reduce their ink consumption.
