DISTRICT 24 — GULF COAST Six Newborn Calves Stolen in Coastal Bend Area of Texas
Special Ranger Tommy Charbula reports the theft of 6 new- born calves from properties in north Jackson and west Wharton counties. Beginning on March 17 through May 10, cattle were lured into holding pens to separate mother calves from their newborns. The calves were then taken to the roadway and loaded. DISTRICT 25 — SOUTH TEXAS/MID GULF COAST Saddle Stolen in South Texas Special Ranger Gary Baros reports the theft of a cham-
pionship saddle from a property in Goliad County. Taken on March 3 was a tan saddle with custom tooling made by Fly- ing J. The saddle’s right side jockey is inscribed with “20th Annual Bad to the Bone Thanksgiving Roping” and “Cham- pion 2014 on the right fender. DISTRICT 27 — SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS Gooseneck Trailer and Panels Stolen from Wilson County Ranch
Special Ranger Sonny Seewald reports the April 8 theft of a gooseneck trailer and 11 portable panels from a property east of Floresville in Wilson County. DISTRICT 30 — SOUTH TEXAS/GULF COAST Five Cattle Missing in Coastal Bend Special Ranger Steve Martin reports 5 head of cattle
missing from a property in Jim Wells County. Missing since March 1 are 4 Brangus cows, all 6 years old and weighing approximately 1,100 pounds each. All had white ear tags with the ranch name.
