JS introduces recessed air curtain
JS Air
Curtains is launching the Finesse, a discreet and high- performance recessed
air curtain suitable for a range of environments, from banks and boutiques to shopping centres and airports.
It can deliver an air flow up to 6,100m3/h enabling it to seal doorways up to 3.5m high. Easy to install and with a compact design, it fits neatly into a suspended ceiling system.
The air curtain can be operated with a wireless controller or connected to a BMS. It can also be fitted with a time switch, a door switch or an indoor temperature sensor. When the room reaches a set temperature, the thermostat will switch the air curtain from expelling heated air to an ambient air mode to conserve power and maintain a comfortable environment. The design of the inlet grille acts as an air filter, preventing dust and airborne contaminants from entering. JS Air Curtains

HUBBARD Products has completed a large-scale industrial seafood processing solution for KJ Refrigeration of Barnstaple. The installation at Coombe Fisheries, Barnstaple doubles its capacity for processing, packing, freezing and storing. The high-performance refrigeration equipment serves newly installed facilities including a holding freezer; a blast freezer; two separate blast freezers; a Helix Spiral Freezer, Hybrid Tunnel & Contact Freezer and a HT Finishing Freezer. Hubbard created a refrigeration plant schedule consisting of: a twin installation of two Zanotti vertical discharge external
housed packaged equipment to service the holding freezer; a single Zanotti vertical discharge pack to service the packing area; two twin semi-hermetic internal screw compressor packs to service the two blast freezers; two twin semi hermetic screw compressor packs, externally housed with economisers and sub coolers, including receiver, control panel and weatherproof housing to service the Spiral Freezer with a duty of 199kW and Contact Freezer with a duty of 90kW.
