VANCOUVER’S latest 1920s-style cocktail bar, Prohibition, has opened in the Rosewood Hotel Georgia. Entering via a shadowy street-level door, guests can expect to be transported back to the Roaring Twenties with cocktails and live music heavily influenced by the 'Jazz Age'. The hotel itself dates from the same era and played host to a
long list of Hollywood stars and royalty. In the 1930s, British Columbia's most popular radio station, CKWX, broadcast from its studio on the penthouse level. After undergoing a full renovation the hotel reopened in 2011.
