And the winner is… The CTC and provincial partners marked

the 25th anniversary of the British Annual Canada Travel Awards with a glitzy lunch

HOSTED BY the CTC, Travel Yukon, Destination British Columbia, Travel Alberta, Manitoba Tourism, Ontario Tourism, Destination Québec and the Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership, the British Annual Canada Travel Awards 2015 took place in the prestigious BAFTA building in London and, in keeping with the venue, drew inspiration from Canadian movies for its theme. More than 120 agents, operators, media and tourism industry partners were present to see the six trade and media winners unveiled. Agents voted for their favourite tour operators, consumers voted for their favourite ski operator, Media and PR reps monitored the top media and online coverage, while the CTC UK team had the final word on the Keep Exploring Award. Top slots for trade players went to Ann Anglesea, Delmar World,

who took the Best Travel Agent award; Crystal Ski, which won Best Ski Operator and 1st Class Holidays for Best Tour Operator. Other agents attending included runners-up Claire Moore, Peakes

Travel Elite; Maria Millard, Miles Morgan Travel; Pat Waterton, Langley Travel and Sue Baker, Villair. Tour operator runners-up were Canadian Affair and Inghams in the ski category and Prestige Holidays and Thomas Cook in the best tour operator category.
