PERFECT SCORE

Want to know how you could have scored 100%? We look at some options to create an ideal itinerary

Florida

If your client is looking for fun in the sun on US soil, Florida is the perfect option. The state is great for families who like to have lots to see and do during their getaways, but that’s not all because the destination is also suited to families who want to fly and flop in their own private villa. Florida is a firm favourite with

families and it’s easy to see why, with Walt Disney World, Universal and SeaWorld among the attractions. So it’s worth getting to know the destination better so you can tailor-make the perfect break, either through dynamic packaging or add-on opportunities.

Excursions are key Mystery Shopper noted that two of the agents this week missed

an opportunity when it came to excursions because they didn’t offer much, if any, advice on what was available. Add-ons such as excursions

aren’t only a commission earning opportunity, they’re also a chance for you to set yourself apart from others and to show off your knowledge. There are lots of fun activities in Orlando for families such as the countless theme parks and wildlife experiences. But if you’re client has time to spare and wants to explore then there are plenty of other options for families out of town, such as an airboat ride in the Everglades (£12 with Attraction World) or a visit to the Kennedy Space Center in the Space Coast area of the state (£35 for adults and £28 for children).
