SHOW PREVIEW: AUTOMATE
Pleora will demonstrate its transcoding gateway at the show. Te transcoding gateway automatically converts video from up to four GigE Vision or USB3 Vision cameras into the H.264 compression format. Te video is then transmitted over a wired or wireless connection using RTSP to a playback device, including embedded PCs, tablets, and smartphones. Te gateway can also output HDMI video to high-definition displays. Te transcoding gateway allows designers to
preserve low-latency, uncompressed video for processing and analysis, while redistributing the image feed for observation or recording.
Te IL-0900 modules output high-power
eye-safe optical pulses with variable pulse width in the range of 50-250ns, and can be used to illuminate extremely short periods of time. Coupling a single SE-1000 sensor with
multiple IL-0900 illumination modules results in a highly flexible 3D vision system, capable of functioning outdoors and in numerous demanding applications.

In a military vehicle application, the appliance converts image feeds used for navigation and surveillance into a compressed video stream that can be transmitted wirelessly to a command centre, vehicles, or battlefield troops. For medical imaging applications, uncompressed low-latency video used by a surgeon can be compressed and sent to nursing staff, consulting physicians, and recording units.

Point Grey will showcase a variety of its latest CCD and CMOS imaging cameras, ranging from VGA to 12 megapixels. Tese will include the new Chameleon3 USB3 Vision board-level camera series, which are well suited to a wide range of space-constrained applications. Te Chameleon3 combines the ease of use of USB 3.0, the small size and flexibility of board-level, and the most popular CCD and CMOS image sensors into an affordable package. Additional highlights will include the
compact Blackfly camera line featuring highly sensitive CCD and CMOS sensors such as the latest 2.3-megapixel Sony Pregius
