Alumni Association UPDATE L
ast night I attended the Open House at Bergen Catholic and spoke with many parents and prospective students. There were Bergen, Bosco, Joe’s, and PC alumni families among the attendees. I had the chance to ask them a lot of questions, and the one thing I walked away
with is that every one of them is aware of the special Brotherhood that exists at Bergen Catholic. I was especially surprised that so many of the people I spoke with told
stories of parent and family involvement and passion for Bergen Catholic. All of which brings me to this: the Bergen Catholic Brotherhood is much more than just the students, faculty, and administration. The parents and families are not only integral to the long-standing success of the school but are, in fact, part of this Brotherhood too. The Brotherhood is really a brother-sister-
father-mother-familyhood...and they are all welcome in the Bergen Catholic family! The Alumni Association has so many great events. Networking events for
recent grads like CAREERS4CRUSADERS in January and for “less-than-re- cent” grads in April. Wine Tasting in February for wine aficionados. The BC Golf Classic in June and so much more. Come on out and don’t forget to in- vite your brother-sister-mother-father-family.
