RC Technologies’ AC2ES material offers flexibility and versatility for applications requiring transparent EMI shielding materials.
These ultrathin, flexible films use the latest nanotechnology to provide high levels shielding effectiveness while remaining optically clear, for use in commercial and industrial electronic applications requiring transparent solutions for shielding materials.
The AC2ES materials can be flat or shaped into three-dimensional (3D) forms, and are available in sheets or rolls with conductivity between 0.1 and 6.0 /square, 70% to 80% transparency, and shielding effectiveness (SE) of 20 to 40 dB from 2 to 18 GHz.

The materials can even be transferred to glass and other substrates for use as transparent antennas in wireless electronic products, including in Bluetooth, cellular, and near-field- communications (NFC) devices.
The AC2ES shielding materials provide high SE levels up to 18 GHz and are available in 100- m thin-film form.
The secret of these materials is in the use of highly conductive nanoparticles that are only 5 or 10 m thick and almost invisible to the eye. This achieves high levels of EMI shielding while remaining optically transparent.

amamatsu Photonics has developed three new image sensors that feature a high-speed charge transfer structure in each pixel to enable high-precision TOF (time-of-flight) distance measurements. The S11961-01CR is the industry’s first linear image sensor for TOF distance measurement, and the S11962-01CR and S11963-01CR are area image sensors for 3D distance-measuring cameras.
In addition to conventional detection tasks such as detecting the presence of people or obstacles, the new image sensors provide various types of added functionality including distance measurement and shape detection. They have been designed for use in a wide variety of applications, such as automotive systems for detecting people or obstacles, object detection in semiconductor wafer transfer systems, shape detection by industrial robots, and intruder detection by security systems.

New HSKG high-power stud terminals C
ONTA-CLIP’s HSKG line of stud terminals ensures secure connections for all energy-
transmitting applications. The new HSKG 35 and HSKG 70 terminals connect cables with small rated cross sections of 35 or 70 mm².
HSKG terminals can be installed as required on
standard TS 35 DIN rails in accordance with EN 60715. They are suited for rated currents from 125 to 520 A at rated voltages up to 1,000 V. Depending on the wire cross-section, the terminals are equipped with M6, M8, M10, M12, or M16 threaded studs. The wire connection range of the HSKG series extends up to 300 mm². Wires are applied to threaded bolts with crimped cable lugs and then connected securely to the busbar by tightening the hex nut. Two cable lugs can be connected per stud. High contact strength, vibration resistance, and freedom from maintenance are provided by the safety/spring washers and combi-nuts; subsequent tightening of the nut is not required.
