Condition monitoring specialists Sensonics has introduced advanced display options for their Sentry G3 machinery protection monitor, a high performance signal conditioning unit. This system provides machine protection to the API670 standard along with
featuring an intuitive colour LCD display in each module to enable plant engineers to rapidly identify abnormal conditions and better manage the dynamic behaviour of their rotating plant. The advanced features now include; Vibration, position and speed parameter trending facilities, including log and view of up to 60 days of data, ‘look back’ at trends and alarms, plus download data for further analysis in Excel. In addition, it is now possible to directly view proximity probe gap and vibration transducer bias voltages, to verify correct transducer operation and calibration. A single view page for all warning, danger and health alarms
provides rapid feedback on the complete module alarm status. The G3 system offers excellent channel density with up to 24
measurement channels in a 3U format, also each channel can provide independent analogue outputs of current and voltage for DCS connection, in addition to an alarm relay.

NEW MONITORS FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
Distec has introduced new LCD monitors that are optimised for use in industrial 19-inch racks. Two solid handles facilitate safe installation and the 3mm thick steel front plate ensures a secure fit in the 19-inch rack. The monitors are available with TFT-
displays in sizes 10.4", 15", 17.3" and 19" (26.41cm to 48.3cm) and the front plate has a height of 5 to 9 units. The front panel colour can be customised according to the corporate design and a logo. A special rack mount version includes two 10.4" TFT displays in portrait mode. In order to offer a perfect solution for the requirements of the
application, the 19-inch rack-monitors can be supplied either with a video card with VGA/DVI or with an integrated PC. It is possible to choose between an AMD T56N platform or a modern 15Watt 4th generation Intel Core i CPU. A resistive touch screen is available as an option for all display sizes. The monitors are especially designed for professional use. The
