New range of Hipot and Insulation Resistance testers

elonic Instruments have introduced a new range of Hipot (Flash) and Insulation Resistance testers manufactured by Japan based Kikusui. Designated the TOS5300 the three models in the range are designed for use in Withstanding Voltage and Insulation Resistance testing to help ensure the safety of Electrical / Electronic components / equipment.

T

Incorporating and innovative PWM amplifier that achieves high stability and has an input voltage regulation of.3%. The series offer rise and fall time control of the test voltage and a stable output which is unaffected by mains voltage variations, plus the ability to select 50 or 60Hz test frequency. Upper and lower current limits can be set within the range of 0.01mA to 110mA in AC mode and 0.01mA to 11mA in DC mode. AC test voltage is settable from 0.05kV to 5kV. D.C test voltages can be varied from 0 to 6kV. All models will operate from any global AC input voltages and frequencies; and are equipped with a USB interface.

ranging from 11mm to 60mm so finding the right stacking height has never been easier. A complete range of heights in single and double row is available from stock, furthermore, whatever stacking height you require we can reset the wafers using our dedicated tooling to give you just the stacking height you need to within 0.1mm. Samples and small volumes normally shipped same day. A range of 2.00mm and 1.27mm pitch stackers is also available.

First Sensor AG Hall B1 Booth #307

irst Sensor presents the new digital Sensortechnics HMI pressure sensors with I²C bus interface.

The

piezoresistive sensors measure differential and gage pressures from 100 mbar up to 10 bar full scale. Due to a special internal construction the HMI sensors achieve increased media compatibility on one pressure port to measure liquids and gases. The HMI pressure sensors utilise precision digital signal conditioning to enable Total Error Bands (TEB) better than ±1.5 %FSS over a wide temperature range of -20…+85 °C. The Sensortechnics HMI series offers very small SIL and DIP housings with a selection of pressure ports for tubing connection or manifold mounting.

ith the continuing growth of the renewable energy market, including electric vehicles and the storage of DC energy,

there is a parallel requirement within these applications to switch high voltage DC circuits.

Available from specialist

distributor Switchtec, Hongfa’s high voltage DC power relays are designed to offer superior performance and reliability in these applications.

The relays use Hongfa’s own patented

technology and independent intellectual property to achieve high levels of performance. Dubbed the HFE18 and HFE80, the relays feature a ceramic chamber filled with a mix of hydrogen and nitrogen gas that provides high arc extinguishing capabilities and a high DC voltage cut-off. This feature also protects the contacts against environmental oxidation and corrosion, thus extending relay life even further.

EZ-BoardWare PCB contact

H

arwin, the leading SMT board hardware and hi- rel connector manufacturer has expanded its popular EZ-BoardWare PCB socket portfolio with a new contact which can accommodate mating pins ranging from 0.8mm to 1.5mm in diameter. These new products complement an existing range, enabling Harwin to offers parts with pin diameters from 0.8mm to 1.8mm. A cost-effective alternative to turned PCB sockets, EZ-Board sockets are designed for SMT assembly and are ideally-suited for high volume applications. The components come in industry-standard tape & reel packaging, allowing them to be automatically placed which minimises installed cost. The new contacts are stackable on 2.54mm pitch

spacing. The design features a two point contact system which ensures secure retention, whilst facilitating easy removal and replacement of the socketedcomponent.
