T en-National President Armithea “Sissy” Borel led the fun, after being escorted in by the Missouri Volunteer Corps with a Mardi Gras parade, beads and all. On the business side, this year was the
revision of the Bylaws, which included several recommendations by the Bylaws Resolutions &
Revisions Committee. Five resolutions to change the Bylaws were brought forward. For the fi nal result of those votes, see Page 10. T ough male eligibility was defeated as a change, the VFW passed a resolution stating that the VFW Adjutant General and National Secretary-Treasurer would submit a proposal by National Convention 2015 to allow equality of female veterans’ families.
