The Tyrol features in a new Austria tour
Shearings increases options for 2015 Britain & Europe programme

Shearings Holidays has added a raft of itineraries to its 2015 Britain & Europe programme to give holidaymakers “more reasons to go” on its breaks. The programme features
five additional premium Grand Tourer holidays for next summer, following an increase in bookings this year. The itineraries include Secret Warwick Castle & Stratford, from £384, and Montreux & Swiss Riviera, from £929. New European tours include
Traditions of the Tyrol in Austria, from £649, which features a folklore evening and a visit to the Kirchberg Flower Festival. In Italy, a Lake Maggiore, Orta
& the Borromean Islands itinerary starts at £929. Also new are the Battle of
Waterloo and Battlefields of the Somme tours to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. Commercial director Caroline
Brown said the tours had already been a “huge success”. Other additions to the
programme include an expanded range of breaks for independent travellers, all-inclusive itineraries and four-day UK weekend breaks. Agent incentives include entry
into a prize draw to win £250 worth of high street vouchers. Early-bird savings of up to £100 per couple are valid for bookings made by November 14.

Mark Warner introduces hotel in French ski resort Mark Warner will open a four- star-plus hotel in Tignes Val Claret, France, in December. The 56-room Chalet Hotel L’Ecrin will feature a swimming pool, sauna and Turkish bath. Prices start at £582 for seven nights’ accommodation, flights, transfers, breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner with wine and a lift pass collection service.

Cosmos beefs up Greece collection with new resorts Cosmos Holidays has expanded the range of exclusive properties, new resorts and wedding locations in its 2015 Greece programme. New resorts include Poros in Kefalonia and Polychrono in Halkidiki, while additional hotels include the Zephyros Hotel in Skala. Also new are weddings in the Lefkas and Pelion regions.
