Although pertinent educational diplomas & certificates would be a plus, Jensen’s is more interested in actual foundry/quality function experience and management abilities. Betz Industries, a leading producer of gray iron and ductile iron castings for the automotive die and machine tool industries located in Grand Rapids, Michigan is expanding and searching for an experienced “hands on” Metallurgist. From the newly con- structed state-of-the-art melt facility, Betz Industries has the capacity to melt and pour up to 6500 tons per month utilizing 20 ton, 8 megawatt coreless furnaces. Castings are custom and semi-production runs, employing the full-mold process.
