The need


Core Assets needed to spread their ‘Be-Alert’ message to adults who come into contact with children but are not necessarily education professionals. Core Assets also needed a learning management system that was flexible, easy to use and cost effective.


The solution – e-learning safeguarding course


The ‘Be Alert’ initiative encourages people to become familiar with the signs of child abuse and neglect. The safeguarding e-learning course was created to help spread this message in an engaging, memorable and emotional way.


The solution – Totara LMS


Totara’s flexibility meant that after initial research, Core Assets chose to use Totara LMS with Mind Click to provide all the unique customisations the company needed.


This flexibility has enabled Core Assets to add custom elements to the learning management system, such as learning needs analysis, so that learners understand what kind of training is needed for their job role, and reflective learning logs.
