[GIVE AND GO]

Marie McCool

Tar Heels incoming freshman likes to keep up with the Kardashians

What’s one thing you can’t live without? My iPhone. I love talking to my friends. I am also really into social media, so I use it for Twitter and Instagram.

What’s one thing that always puts you in a good mood?

Before games, I love singing and dancing with my team in the locker room. It definitely puts me in a good mood and gets me pumped up. We like to dance to the song “Move It Like This.”

What’s one thing that lacrosse really needs? A shot clock. Stalling ruins the momentum of the game. I like fast-paced and intense games to make it fun.

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

Adam Levine from Maroon 5. “She Will Be Loved” is my all-time favorite song. What’s on your bucket list?

I really want to go to Greece. I watch “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” They went to Greece and I really want to stay where they stayed.

Where did you go on your last vacation? Disney World. It was for our senior trip at Moorestown (N.J.). I’ve never really gone on vacation with my friends before.

What will be your major at North Carolina? I plan to major in business. I want to work for Nike as a sales representative.

It’s 2024 – Where are you and what are you doing? Hopefully, I’m married with three kids – two boys and one girl. I actually want to raise my kids in Moorestown where I grew up, because it’s such a nice town and lacrosse is really big for girls there.

OVERTIME (from MLL moonlighter Chazz Woodson) If you had the resources, what one problem in America or the world would you address? Starvation across the world. Many people, including myself, take it for granted that we have so much food and water when there are people in different countries starving. My first step would be to collect food and then bring it to these countries to distribute it to people who need it.

DOUBLE OVERTIME (from Alyssa Natoli, Eastport, N.Y.) If you could pick any name in the world, what name would you pick? Why? If I could pick my name, I’d pick Ryan. I really like Ryan as a girl name. It’s interesting, but I love it.

Pose a question for our next subject. If you were given the opportunity to do any activity you want, what would it be?
