Norwegian offers many entertainment options and agents described the Vegas-style shows as “some of the best
at sea”, while others say the line was “the most innovative when it came to entertaining guests”. It offers everything from Cirque Dreams and the Blue Man Group to the magical Illusionarium. Katherine Doyle of Bawtry Travel says: “Norwegian always puts a lot of effort into the entertainment factor on its cruises.”
Celebrity Cruises
It was the variety on Celebrity’s fleet that pleased agents with everything from West End productions to circus shows and
even panto. The line offers acrobats, comedians, singers, magicians, as well as a new late-night comedy show Sin City, on Celebrity Equinox, Silhouette, Solstice and Summit. The show combines comedy with Las Vegas showgirls and agents said it was a great idea!

Sailing on the Mekong, you’ll enjoy fruit- carving, cooking classes and traditional Khmer folk performances, and if you’re
cruising around a European waterway expect more local acts and musicians. Explaining his vote for APT, Scott Anderson of The Luxury Cruise Company says: “APT gets local entertainers on board that are of excellent quality.”

AmaWaterways prides itself on highlighting the best of a destination on board and everything from the food
served to the entertainment provided reflects the port of call. Expect anything from a Sound of Music sing-a-long to a traditional Bavarian performance. Kathy May of Cruise Options says the entertainment was “always a hit with customers”, while Susan Dogan of Cruise Village voted for the line because “the entertainment reflects the culture and mood of the city”.
