Africa's largest trade show, Indaba, took place in Durban this May as South Africa celebrates 20 years of democracy. Laura Gelder reports from the show

LEGEND Lodges’ new Southern Sky Safari Camp will open this August on the former site of a game ranger school, located in the Entabeni Safari Conservancy, where the group already has five properties. The camp consists of 10 tented and
thatched chalets raised into the trees in a location which is home to a pride of lions. There will also be a restaurant, bar and boma. Entabeni’s sister property Legend Golf and Safari Resort will also open a new club house in August. It will be the biggest club house in Africa at 2,000 square metres, with a members' lounge and bar, golf pro shop, gym, 250-seat fine dining restaurant and rooftop bar.

Taung Heritage Route revealed: A new 45km tourism route in the North West Province links the region’s attractions including archaeological sites, game reserves and other historical and natural attractions. The centre piece is the UNESCO Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site, where a 2.5 million year old skull was found.

THE Limpopo Tourism Agency and Transfrontier Park Destinations have launched Luvuvhu 4X4 Eco Trails. Running from the Phalaborwa to
Pafuri gates of the Kruger National Park through the provincial reserves of Letaba Ranch and Makuya Park, the area is known as Greater Kruger and is home to the Big Five. Access to the challenging trail is for
low-range, high-clearance 4×4 vehicles and packages range from four to nine days with stops of environmental, historical and cultural interest.
