Grass Roots Reveals New Bubbly Vans Running on
‘elec-trickery’ Grass Roots, the world’s leading provider of employee and customer engagement solutions, has today revealed newly branded electric vans are to be used by members of their facilities team. Two Renault Kangoo ZE vehicles have had the
new Grass Roots ‘bubbly’ brand applied in the form of vinyl wraps with high impact and vibrant results. Running purely on electricity, the vans produce no carbon emissions and no noise pollution. Grass Roots’ refreshed brand treatment, utilising brightly coloured circles and illustrative imagery, cleverly covers both vehicles – with the cheeky slogan on the back: ‘I run on elec-trickery’ – to raise a few smiles and exhibit the light tone of voice and sense of humour synonymous with the company values and people. This is the first time electric vehicles have
been used at Grass Roots. With significant savings in the cost of fuel each month and a reduced carbon footprint, the move to ‘electric’ supports the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and complements a huge range of green initiatives which the organisation undertakes both in the UK and globally.

Hartman heads up ITW Industry ITW Industry welcomes Jon Hartman who joined as General Manager late last year. At 32, Hartman is already a proven company leader – transferring from Stokvis Tapes (an ITW manufacturer of adhesive tapes) where he held the position of Managing Director as he transformed the company’s profitability. Hartman is now responsible for ITW construction operations in the UK, Ireland and South Africa. Hartman remarked – “I’m delighted to join the construction industry at the
start of some challenging but exciting times – with the market uplift and customer demands at an all-time high. The upturn has allowed us to make use of recent investments in manufacturing equipment and expand our teams to cope with demand.” In his first four months, Mr Hartman has set aside time to visit and get to know
his employees, customers, suppliers and job sites to gain an understanding of business and the industry in general. Hartman commented – “It is a steep learning curve but I believe the best way
for me to learn and understand the market’s demand is to see and hear it myself” – he continued – “I’m looking forward to continuing to get out in front of our customer base to hear what their needs are and how we can help them achieve their goals.”
