HOW BOURNE LEISURE GIVES BACK
✯ Each of the three Bourne Leisure brands has a main charity which they support throughout the year. Haven supports BBC Children in Need, Butlins raises money for The Carers Trust and Warner Leisure Hotels backs The Royal British Legion. Warner properties also all work with a local charity of their choice.
✯ Butlins and Haven both support the Family Fund, providing discounted holidays for those with disabled children, and the Family Holiday Association, which does the same for disadvantaged families. A range of other charities are also supported with discounted breaks for families.
✯ The Bourne in the Community project was devised as a spin-off from Haven’s Fun & Fitness scheme, which provided free sports equipment for under-5s at pre-schools. After a visit to one particular pre-school, the Bourne Community team built a science and wildlife garden on an area of unused ground nearby.
✯ The teams at Bourne Leisure’s resorts and properties and at its head office in Hemel Hempstead also host charity days for causes such Dens, which supports homeless people, and also work locally with groups and organisations such as the Hemel Stags Rugby Club where the Bourne Community team are currently helping to restore a garden.

“Over the past two years Haven Holidays has raised a fantastic £370,000 for BBC Children in Need with lots of creative fundraising and challenges.
