BOURNEC MMUNITYCHAMPIONS in association with Win hands-on

support to help you give back to your local community

T

ravel agencies are renowned for many things – they work hard, they love their jobs and they know how to have fun!

But another thing that unites many travel agents around the

country is their community spirit. Whether taking part in local events or supporting groups and

charities in the villages, towns and cities where they are based, agents are at the heart of their communities. And that’s why Travel Weekly and Bourne Leisure have

teamed up to search for the agent who gives the most back in order to give them the support they deserve. Bourne Community Champions is a new initiative which is open to any frontline travel sellers, whether you work on the high street, from home or in a call centre. Regardless of whether your business is large or small, we want you to tell us about projects that you are involved in or would like to support – whether it’s working with local schools or hospitals, supporting sports clubs or even helping to landscape a park or play area.

All the entries will then be assessed by a panel of judges, with the overall winner receiving: ✯Assistance from Bourne Leisure’s experienced community support team with the winning project.

✯A two-page feature in Travel Weekly about the project. ✯A holiday for up to four people at one of Bourne Leisure’s properties or resorts – either Butlins, Haven or Warner Leisure Hotels.

✯Tickets for two people to join Bourne Leisure at the Travel Weekly Northern Ball in Manchester in September.

Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly Group, said:

“Bourne Leisure really understands what it means to support local communities and charities, and backs its words up with actions. Travel Weekly is delighted to be supporting the Bourne Community Champions initiative, and we look forward to hearing from our readers and helping one winner make a real difference.”
