AFS Seeking Board of

Director Nominations AFS is now accepting nominations for its National

Board of Directors from any AFS chapter or committee fol- lowing a change in the board’s bylaws enacted at the January Board of Directors meeting. Nominations must include the nominee’s company affilia-

tion and address and verify the nominee’s company will support his or her participation on the board during a four-year term. Nominations are due Oct. 1 and should be sent to AFS CEO Jerry Call at jcall@afsinc.org. In past years, specific chapters were eligible to nomi-

nate two directors to the board on an annual rotating basis. According to the recent changes, all chapters, as well as technical committees, are invited to submit individuals for the board. Tese individuals will be placed into a pool of candidates to be considered for the subsequent Directors Classes by the board’s nominating committee. Te AFS Board of Directors seeks to fill four open positions every year for each Directors Class.
