Picking up where Nobake Molding & Coremaking 101 left off, this new two-day laboratory course will provide participants with the next level of knowledge related to the nobake molding and coremaking processes used within a metalcasting facility through discussion and hands-on laboratory activities. The class structure and content stems from the Institute’s recent $1 million investment to
revamp its courses. Highlights include: • Specialty sands, sand variables and sand additives.
• Chemical binders used to make nobake molds and cores.
• How to determine the correct sand and binder for the application.
