Ried was a motorcycle officer for the Lansing, MI Police Department.


NOW: Officer David Ried poses with his father Lynn Ried and his 1-year old son Alex. Officer Ried is a recent graduate of the 2013 Northwestern University police motorcycle school held in Ann Arbor. His father Lynn stated in his day all that was required to be a motorcycle officer was a desire to be on the unit and a motorcycle endorsement. Officer Ried stated he is grateful he received the fantastic training through Northwestern Uni- versity and Harley-Davidson, making him a much better and safer rider.
