SLS READIES STRIP DEBUT WITH IGT
SLS Las Vegas is to open its doors on September 1 with 50 per cent of its slots floor given over to IGT’s product range Nevada - New operations
IGT has secured a commanding 50 per cent floor share of games at the new SLS Las Vegas, a lifestyle-driven, mixed-use resort and casino. Targeted to open Labor Day Weekend (September 1, 2014), SLS Las Vegas will feature 400 IGT games on its casino floor.
Representing the stunning transformation of a celebrated Las Vegas Strip location steeped in Rat Pack lore, SLS Las Vegas draws from a rich legacy of entertainment. A wide range of IGT titles featured in the property’s casino will provide player excitement across several game themes, from MegaJackpots, to core and video poker titles.

US – NEVADA AND DELAWARE INTERSTATE DEAL The governors of Nevada and Delaware are going all in for online gambling, agreeing to let residents in those states play against each other at virtual poker tables.
Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval and Delaware Gov. Jack Markell have signed as deal that creates a framework for regulating interstate gambling, and would eventually allow residents of both states to play poker against each other online.
While Nevada is only allowing its residents to play online poker so far, the agreement offers the possibility of additional games. It also could allow for additional states to sign up as members of a multi-state Internet gaming association.

US - ALL CHANGE FOR HARRAH’S RINCON CASINO Harrah’s Rincon Casino & Resort has unveiled the property’s new brand evolution to Harrah’s Resort Southern California. The name change precedes the April 2014 completion of a $160m, multi-phase renovation and expansion with a focus on the improved Southern California gaming and resort experience and the array of amenities for guests. Harrah’s Resort Southern California will boast 1,065 rooms after launching a brand new 403-room hotel tower, making it the fourth largest in the county.

Los Angeles-based SBE owns the resort in partnership with private equity firm Stockbridge Capital Group of San Francisco and is redeveloping the 1,600 room property from head to toe. The $415m SLS Las Vegas is the first Las Vegas hotel by nightlife and hospitality leader, SBE, and will feature an imaginative mix of nightlife, dining and entertainment experiences under one roof. Notable brands opening at SLS Las Vegas include a reinvention of the popular L.A. nightspot, The Sayers Club, and restaurant concepts including The Bazaar by José Andrés, Katsuya, Cleo, 800 Degrees, Umami Burger and The Griddle Café.
The redesign of SLS includes new entrances and corridors, while the property’s public areas, including the casino, are undergoing a reconfiguration. Entrances along the Strip and from Paradise Road are being redesigned. Unlike other casino companies that license out amenities to third-party operators, SBE will oversee all aspects of SLS Las Vegas.
Former Wynn Resorts executive Rob Oseland was named SLS Las Vegas President in 2012 and will oversee the property, including the reconfigured 60,000-square-foot casino, which will have 80 table games and 800 slot machines.

US Williams Interactive has entered into a multi-year agreement with UK gaming operator Ladbrokes, to add the full portfolio of Williams Interactive online slot games to
Ladbrokes.com. Through integra- tion with the Williams Interactive Remote Game Server,
