Intralot has been selected by Premier Lotteries Ireland Limited (PLI), as its technology provider for the supply, set up, maintenance and support of new lottery software platforms and terminals in Ireland. Premier Lotteries Ireland is a company that has been awarded a 20 year licence to oper- ate the Irish National Lottery that recorded rev- enues of €735m in 2012.
GERMANY - INCREASING PRESENCE IN GERMANY Euro Games Technology and the management of two of Germany’s biggest and most successful casino groups came together last month to celebrate EGT’s growing presence in Germany. Erwin Horak, President of Staatliche Lotterieverwaltung Bayern, Josef Müller, Managing Director of Staatliche Lotterieverwaltung Bayern and Otto Wulferding, General Manager of Baden-Württembergische Spielbanken visited EGT headquarters in Sofia, Bulgaria to become better acquainted with the company and its products.
EGT’s first installation in Germany took place in 2009 in col- laboration with Spielbank Berlin. Since D-Systems took over the distribution of EGT products in Germany in 2010, the company installed its equipment in most of the casino groups throughout the country, while 2013 was the most successful year for the partnership of the two companies.

EUROPE - NEW RECRUIT Suzo-Happ is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Steiner. Mr. Steiner joined the European team at the beginning of the month and brings a wealth of experience with him, having worked for NRI and Crane previously for over nine years.

Within the framework of the 10-year contract, Intralot will provide its state-of-the-art LOTOS O/S On-line Gaming Computer System for the operation and administration of Lottery and instant games over both the retail POS network, as well as the Internet and mobile channels. The technology suite will also include Intralot’s CRM solution and LOTOS Horizon content management software platform. In addition, Intralot will supply PLI with more than 4,000 of its sophisticated Photon terminals that are based on Intralot’s Icon Digital Imaging Technology.
Aiming to offer the most efficient on-site support, Intralot has set-up Intralot Ireland that will be responsible for the implementation and configu- ration of these platforms, simultaneously offering a combination of high quality maintenance, sup- port and repair services for the delivered software and terminals, as well as on-going consultancy
services for the complete project term. Additional options from Intralot’s product portfolio have also been made available to Premier Lotteries Ireland for the duration of the contract.

UK SG Gaming, a division of Scientific Games, has announced a four-year contract extension with Corbett Bookmakers, the independent betting shop operator, extending the existing partnership until 2018. SG Gaming’s strong content offering and operational support were the key reasons behind Corbett’s decision to extend the contract. Since the partnership began in 2010, SG Gaming’s content titles have helped drive significant cash box revenue across the Corbett estate. Under the new deal, SG Gaming will supply Corbett with its Vision and Infinity cabinets. The cabinets will be rolled out to all 61 of Corbett’s shops over the course of this year.
