AFS President’s Session: Putting a Face on the Safety Statistics


Statistics show that the foundry industry has nearly three times the accident rate of other manufacturing industries and during the past ten years there have been 71 deaths at foundries. A panel of foundry managers who have experienced an accidental death in their facility will discuss the incident, the emotions and the changes to make sure that it never happens again.
