It is also useful when evaluating personal skills to be aware of our own actions and how these could demonstrate a need for personal development, such as: l resisting change l unwilling to listen or accept new ideas l imposing change without taking people with you l lack of planning


l not evaluating benefits and costs l not evaluating potential risks, for self, others or organisation l introducing unnecessary bureaucracy or complexity l negative ‘it won’t work’ attitude l blaming, instead of learning, when things do not go wrong or the way you expect them to.
