T
HAT’S A BOLD STATEMENT IN THE HEADLINE, BUT SINCE THE CATTLEMAN HAS never held a drawing of this sort, it’s an accurate statement. We are having a drawing at the 2014 Cattle Raisers Convention
for 3 items that I have coveted for years, and I know many of our mem- bers have, too. Gorgeous boots from Rios of Mercedes, Anderson Bean, Olathe: We’re
drawing for a $400 gift certifi cate that the winner could use right there at the Expo to take his or her pair or pairs of boots home the day of the drawing — Saturday, April 5. Quality ranch goods from National Ropers Supply: Another $400 gift
certifi cate to spend right there in the Expo, or at your convenience, on a saddle, tack or other goods or supplies. The big 100-quart Icehole M1 cooler: We’ll help the lucky winner load
this arctic white cooler, emblazoned with our special 100th Anniversary logo for The Cattleman, in his or her vehicle, or ship it to you later. Since the beginning of TSCRA’s relationship with Icehole, I’ve watched the men in our membership stop dead in their tracks and admire with great longing the products from this company. This cooler retails for more than $400. How do you enter the drawing? It’s simple. Download The Cattleman
NOW and/or The Cattleman Plus on your smartphone or tablet. Come by The Cattleman table at the Expo and show us the app on your phone or tablet at the Expo, and we’ll drop your name in the bucket for each app you show us. Don’t have the apps yet? We’ll help you download at the Expo, and we’ll drop your name in the bucket. We’ll draw early enough on Saturday, April 5, for you to spend the gift
certifi cates on site, if you wish, or we’ll mail them to you, and we’ll help load or ship the Icehole cooler to the winner. Be assured, this is a shameless campaign to increase the number of
users of our apps. Once you have them, I know you will enjoy the features and the connectivity to TSCRA they provide. After the drawing, we’ll shred the entries, so no worries that we’ll
pester you with pleas. Gorgeous boots, quality ranch goods and a cooler that makes all other coolers pale in comparison — Best Drawing Ever!
