The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) is the Drowning Prevention Charity. RLSS UK is dedicated to reducing the number of deaths by accidental drowning and injuries sustained through near-drowning.

Around 400 people drown in the UK every year. Drowning is the third highest cause of accidental death in children.


RLSS UK is the leading provider of training and education in lifesaving, lifeguarding, water safety and life support skills in the UK and the governing body for Lifesaving Sport.
