RMS plans further expansion

n the last few years RMS Cable Management has added a manufacturing facility to its Andover based headquarters and
with further expansion planned the company has strengthened the board of directors by appointing long standing staff member Karen Conrad as Marketing Director and Peter Willsher as Commercial Director. Even in more challenging times the company has been able to
achieve a sustained period of growth which is attributed to RMS’s on- going dedication to customer needs, making sure that consumers are not only able to purchase from a huge range of specialist products but are constantly kept informed of its growing product portfolio. Marketing Director Karen Conrad said: “We see the depth of our
product portfolio that includes GRP containment, stainless steel conduit, cable management and a complete range of floor to desk power products as a key driver to growing our market share.”
Competitive advantage In a hugely competitive industry, the company recognises that top
quality service and an extensive product range continues to give them a sustained competitive advantage in the marketplace. Its manufacturing division also continues to exceed it targets despite a growing number of overseas companies entering the UK. The ability to deliver specialised customer led solutions, allied to an exceptional level of service allows its upward trend to continue. Commercial Director, Peter Willsher said: “We have carved out a position within the containment industry; we are well established in a number of supply chains and have worked on various large-scale projects both in the United Kingdom and abroad. “Our current expansion is a very positive sign that we are able to offer sustainable levels of quality and service – something which is not always assured by other suppliers.
