Product development is key to success

Product development, innovation and diversification are critical for the on-going growth of any manufacturing business. Companies must listen carefully to customer feedback, opinion and ideas whilst remaining in sync with changing market conditions, demands and legislation. Paul Diggins, Sales and Marketing Director for Marco Cable Management explains why product development will always remain at the heart of its business.

development. From our infancy, we recognised that if we were to compete with the many other established brands, we must offer not only standard product ranges, but new, innovative and sometimes ground-breaking products to set us apart from the rest. four sizes, in both standard and self-adhesive variants; a design where the lid is quickly removed and snapped back on with ease, making it ideal for ‘Moves, Adds and Changes’ (MAC). We were able to produce this product efficiently by utilising a lot of the current manufacturing capability through re- configuration, whilst at the same time it also filled a gap in our range that we had not previously been identified.
