The Peaceful Revolution A

ccording to Richard Powell, Permaculture is

Empowerment: empowering ourselves to create a much better world. After all, the current world is one of literally countless options. Instead of one based on fear and separation, why not create a world based upon the common desires for peace, abundance and universal prosperity? To accomplish this, Permaculture,

a system of ecological design, uses a set of ethics and principles based upon Nature’s perfection. So regardless of whether one is designing a business, a community, a bountiful garden or a house, Permaculture has much to offer to make that design more effi cient and regenerative. Permaculture, the marriage of two words, “permanent” and “culture,” often looks at a forest as an effi cient system worthy of emulation. For example, nobody waters a forest, fertilizes a forest, or really takes care of a forest, yet, because of its intricate connections between plants, animals, fungi and bacteria, the forest is comprised of a countless number of organisms, provides food for all of them and cleans the air and water, too. In a Permaculture Design Course attendees will learn this amazing and

empowering world view and become invaluable members of the peaceful revolution. The course is March 22-Apr 2. Mention Natural Awakenings when registering and get a $150.00 discount! For details visit: www.orlandopermaculture.org or call Richard Powell at 407-625-5355.

A Unique Experience: All Massage Schools Are Not Created Equal

T

he Central Florida School of Massage Therapy takes pride in the fact that it offers much more to its students than other schools. It not only offers a quality education in massage therapy, but also a learning environment that is uplifting and inspiring. Staff and faculty members invest their time and energy into the well-being of each student, doing all they can to assist individuals through the massage program. Each instructor brings specialized knowledge into the classroom, assuring students that they are learning from experienced practitioners. It is easy to thrive in an environment where the instructors are so passionate about what they do and are eager to pass on their knowledge. Anyone can learn the mechanical strokes of massage from a book, a DVD or

video. You can’t however, learn the true essence of healing unless you are in an environment that allows you to challenge yourself. To be a great massage therapist, you must look within and face those fears that you have tucked away for years—and strip away the limitations you have set for yourself. The Central Florida School of Massage Therapy not only teaches all that is required to pass the National Exam, but it also introduces modalities of massage that you may want to specialize in once you graduate. Attending the CFSMT opens the doors to change, to a lifetime of learning and

fulfi llment in helping others! The next session for day and evening classes begins March 17. For more information and to tour the school, contact Admissions Advisor, Lindsey Manz at 407-673-6776.
