The Galway Technical Institute celebrated their 75th anniversary recently by showcasing the talents of their students.


Celebrating 75 years of education!


The Galway Technical Institute (GTI) celebrated their 75th anniversary recently by offering a wide range of activities for local residents, past staff members and political figures.


In particular, the beauty department offered complimentary treatments such as Matis facials and organised pop-up shops for Jessica Nail Care, Artdeco and Flair Nail Care. Meanwhile, the hair department showcased some spectacular nautical themed hairdressing looks and also offered complimentary blow dries and treatments to visitors.


All proceeds raised by the event were given to the RNLI. IBreader offer!

Free training magazine fromTWA


The Waverley Academy has launched a new digital magazine titled Learning & Careers.


Editor and principal, Derek O Kelly told IB: “The magazine is designed to help those in the industry to start or progress their careers or businesses. We will be sharing the educational content that we have amassed over the past 20 years so as readers have access to free education and will also have contributions from experts in the industry.”
