ure London, the premium event for progressive fashion buyers, will once again play host to the UK’s largest selection of footwear and accessory brands at the forthcoming February edition of the show.


The fashion buying tradeshow has undergone a revamp ahead of its


February edition, following investment from parent company i2i Events Group and the show will see premium brands, emerging designers and trusted sector expertise brought together to a create a focused and inspirational buying experience. At the heart of this will be Pure London’s five re-edited sections; Aspire,


Agenda, Allure, Spirit and Footwear & Accessories. Featuring a range of new, international and niche brands showcasing their


AW14 collections at London Olympia, the footwear and accessory hall (located on the gallery level) is set to be one of the best yet with over 400 labels exhibiting. Pure London’s head of footwear and accessories Vicky Ogden said: “I am


really excited about the forthcoming edition of Pure London in February. The footwear and accessories section has a truly international feel to it this season with many new brands showing alongside the favourite top brands from previous seasons.” Global footwear distributor and licensee Highline United Europe will be making a return to Pure London this season as the headline category sponsor of footwear and accessories as well as sponsor of the Footwear and Accessories Café brought to you by Highline United Europe. Highline United Europe will also show the AW14 footwear collections from


its brands including French Connection, Elie Tahari, Luxury Rebel, Nylo and award-winning designer Julian Hakes. Also returning to Pure London this season will be contemporary footwear


brand United Nude with its unique and distinctive take on current footwear trends. United Nude has positioned itself at the intersection of design and fashion and has gained international recognition for the brand’s creative work. Known for clarity, elegance and innovation, United Nude shoes are sold in over 40 countries, with flagship stores in Amsterdam, London and New York. UK-based footwear designer Nicola Sexton will be presenting the AW14


collection from her eponymous brand. Returning to Pure London this season Nicola Sexton’s designs are both contemporary and functional, offering a range of ballet flats, boots and wedge styles. After a successful debut at Pure London last season for SS14, Australian


footwear label Sol Sana also makes a return to the show. With a focus on high quality leathers, the finest materials and trims, Sol Sana merges high fashion styling with comfort, wearability and affordability. Zandra Rhodes Footwear will also return to the show after a successful debut at last season. Other brands returning to Pure London this season include Portuguese


footwear labels Fly London and Sofia Costa, Spanish brand Pikolinos plus other brands including Moda in Pelle, Esska, Ska Shoes, Lemon Jelly, Mustang Shoes, Butterfly Twists, Ravel and Babycham. In addition to all of these brands on show in the footwear and accessories


section, Pure London’s parent company i2i Events has recently announced an extension of its partnership with UK Trade & Investment.

working together to give more support to British SMEs seeking international growth by offering subsidised stands for a selection of ready-to-wear and footwear and accessories brands in dedicated UKTI Pavilions. The UKTI Footwear and Accessories Pavilion already has eight UK


footwear and accessories brands confirmed. These include; Larah England, Kausar, Meena Bags, Mimu, Belles Bejewelled, Salvei & Sean Bags and Havva Footwear. It is hoped that with UKTI’s support these up-and-coming UK footwear


and accessory brands will be able to make the most of exhibiting at Pure London and will appeal to many of the show’s international visitors. Commenting on the UKTI New Brits section Vicky added: “We are thrilled


to welcome the UKTI New Brits section to Pure London this season, not only in Footwear and Accessories but also downstairs in ready-to-wear. The UKTI will provide invaluable support to the British designers showing in their pavilions.” Playing host to footwear and accessory brands from as far afield as


Australia and the USA as well as the key European countries including France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Russia and Holland and, of course, the UK, the AW14 edition of Pure London, organised by i2i Events Group, is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet for footwear and accessories. “There is a lot of excitement surrounding the forthcoming edition of Pure


London,” said Vicky. “We have re-edited the show and introduced a large number of new brands across all of the shows five sections; Agenda, Allure, Aspire, Spirit and Footwear & Accessories. The reaction of both the UK and International market to the re-edit has been very encouraging and I think everyone is looking forward to what is shaping up to be a really great show.”
