Gathering of Eagles 2013 was the 10th annual memorial warbird event dedicated to the memory of Dino DiGiorgio Sr. Held in November at the Georgia Model Aviators club near Ball Ground, Georgia, 58 pilots from up and down the U.S. East Coast and parts of Canada, came to attend.


This warbird event featured mostly World War I and World War II aircraft. Featured planes and pilots include: Pedro Sanchez’s radial powered Stearman and F4U Corsair, Brent Bowling’s four engined B-17, Mike Pascoe’s turboprop powered Tucano, Kirk Hall’s FW-190, PJ Ash’s Ju-88 and P-40 Tarheel, RB Kincad’s Fairchild 24, Bob Marks’ OV-10 Bronco, Patrick Manvill’s Albatros D.V and Mike DeLaune’s S.E.5. These are just a few of the great planes on this video.
