When and where did the Nu-era Lighting story begin?
In April 2011, Larry and Jerry set up Nu-era Lighting in a fairly small workshop in Witham, Essex. Within a very short space of time, Nu-era moved from this to the purpose built premises that they now reside further round on the same industrial estate (covering a huge 36,000 square feet!). Recruiting through a recession, Nu-era Lighting now employs over 44 local people!
Eyes On... 2 What has been your biggest challenge to date?
The biggest change for Nu-era Lighting was the change in market from HID to LED, but judging from their impressive
premises and their high quality products, they have certainly kept up the pace!
3 How did you overcome it?
Nu-era Lighting only use branded components and by doing this they maintain the trust from their growing customer list. As the brands expand their market presence, the trust for the Nu-era brand grows too!
