PROJECT FOCUS RELIGIOUS


Prayer Center of Orland Park, Orland Park, Ill. The three-story, 22,000-square-foot mosque is designed to look like the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. The project utilizes Berridge coil in Kynar 500/Hylar 5000 Copper Cote from Berridge Manufacturing Co. Roofi ng contractor AMB Roof- ing & Sheet Metal formed the Berridge coil into the dome’s 25 squares of Compound Curved Tee- Panel System using the Berridge SL-1 Roll Former. AMB Roofi ng installed 80 24-foot panels to create the dome, the project’s key architectural design feature. Curtiss Hlad from MPI Media Group, served as the project’s general contractor.
