Introducing the Saga Probate Service When a loved one dies, you may need to make complicated legal decisions at a difficult time, often with little awareness of potentially escalating costs. The Saga Probate Service offers free, practical advice over the phone so you’ll know where to start and how to proceed. If you decide you need specialist help, we also provide:

■ Unlimited advice for Executors, seven days a week, on the legal and practical issues relating to bereavement

■ A fixed price, agreed upfront which we calculate on the complexity – rather than the value – of the Estate

■ A dedicated, friendly case handler to actively manage the process, minimising delays

■ A specialist solicitor, governed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, to oversee the legal paperwork

■ Future Estate planning support, including a Will review and advice on eligibility for State benefits.

Further useful services Bereavement sometimes has additional consequences that we may be able to help with. For example, it may be necessary to update one or more Wills or arrange Lasting Power of Attorney. The Saga Will Writing Service can provide bespoke Estate planning to ensure your affairs are in good order.

It may also result in a house needing to be sold. The Saga Conveyancing Service can assist with all the legal aspects of selling or buying a property.
