He spent 34 years as a Nassau County Police Officer, and for the past 11 years has been employed by the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, assigned to the DEA Task Force. He has purchased four raffle tickets every year that the Memorial Fund has conducted the raffle. Mr. Holmes travels to Washington, D.C. for National Police Week every year to honor seven of his Nassau County colleagues whose names are engraved on the Memorial walls. In March, the National Law Enforcement Officers


Memorial Fund launched its annual raffle to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Museum, which is currently under construction across the street from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C.’s Judi- ciary Square. For $25, each participant received a raffle ticket and a Harley-Davidson/ Memorial Fund challenge coin. Four thousand tick- ets were printed, helping raise $93,535 for the Museum campaign. With the completion of


the most recent raffle, the Memorial Fund has raised more than $466,000 for the National Law Enforcement Museum, thanks to the gen- erosity of Harley-Davidson Motor Company. “The Memorial Fund
