National Police Week, Washington D.C. - There were 137 Motor Officers from all over the country that escorted 6 buses from Alexandria VA to the FBI Academy at Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA. The buses carried children of police officers who have been killed or died in the line of duty. The staff at the FBI Academy plans a fun day for them so they can forget about their worries for a short while and be with other children who have gone through the same situation. After the buses are delivered to the FBI Academy, Harley-Davidson Motor Company then treated all the motor officers who participated in the escort to lunch. This year it was at Buffalo Wild Wings in Prince William County that was set up by the Prince William County Motor Unit. All of the Motor Officers were very appreciative of this lunch and it really showed Harley-Davidson’s support to the motor officers and COPS. It was a great time by all.
