pooling our resources to sponsor the printing of precious Dharma texts; we go on precious pilgrimages and we produce holy objects. T ese are some of the activities we organise to generate excellent karmic merit. You will discover when you study the Sutras that the Buddha himself explains how there is incredible benefi t in just printing the mantras. By sharing the project with others, this simple book not only makes many of the precious mantras and sutras available to thousands, but by letting others participate in the project as well, the merit of printing is also shared amongst others. Making copies (or printing) prayer and sutra texts is the easiest and quickest way to generate big, positive merit quickly. T is method is taught by Buddha himself in many of the precious sutras that have survived since Buddha’s time of Enlightenment in India. We have included sutras that specifi cally multiply benefi ts of spiritual protection and happiness when many copies are made! Two years ago during Losar 2012,

Lillian and her family, her MAFIA Dharma friends and our WOFS business associates printed 10,000 copies of the 3rd edition of Chant- a-Mantra, which for the first time contained excerpts to the King of Sutras, the Golden Light Sutra, the Sutra of Norbu Sangpo (for wealth), the Noble Stack of Auspiciousness, the Dharani Possessing the Four Limbs and the Long Life Sutra of Amitayus. T ese incredibly benefi cial texts were translated by Lillian’s Guru Lama Zopa Rinpoche for the express purpose of benefi ting all beings. T at edition featured 198 pages of Buddha’s mantras, stunning thangka images alongside invocations and prayers in full colour! It has been an enormous success, having been distributed to more than 45 countries worldwide – from Asia to the USA, UK, Europe, Russia, Africa, Middle East and more! Looking back at the very first edition of Chant a Mantra, I realise how this amazing prayer booklet has just taken a life of its own! T e fi rst edition, published by Lillian and WOFS, was less than 100 pages thick! Subsequent editions began to grow thicker and

thicker as Lillian added more and more prayers and mantras that were kindly shared with her by her Gurus! T roughout the years, over 30,000 copies of Chant a Mantra have been distributed free to Lillian’s students and fans through her courses, seminars, Spiritual Feng Shui Events and through our website www.fsmegamall.com. Having benefi ted so much from this precious booklet, our students and fans around the world have written to me privately, indicating their great wish to be a sponsor of future editions!

Hence for LOSAR 2014, when I

wrote to our MAFIA as well as to those who had written to us expressing their wish to be a sponsor of CHANT A MANTRA reprints, the spontaneous and swift response that came from all parts of the globe was simply too overwhelming for words! Within three days, all our MAFIA members and over a hundred students had written back with pledges and almost instant payments. T e enthusiasm of course generates a joyousness that is very wonderful.
