incentive meetings Paradisus Resorts Extravagant new experiences that groups will savor
With an expanding portfolio of hotels in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and, as of fall 2014, Costa Rica, Paradisus Resorts — Meliá Hotels International’s luxurious all-inclusive brand — keeps finding new ways to entice incentive groups. In addition to a new brand- wide partnership with six-star Michelin Chef Martin Berasategui, Paradisus Resorts debuted new YHI Spa treatments unique to each property this past summer. For example, groups staying at Paradisus
Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort or Paradisus Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic can experience YHI Spa’s new Absolut Regenera- tion Ritual, which incorporates crystallized honey, magnolia essence, and a vitamin body mask into a relaxing massage treat- ment. Guests at both resorts can also take
advantage of The Reserve at Paradisus, an exclusive resort-within-a-resort concept offering private check-in, residential-style accommodations, and other amenities. For VIPs or standout performers, both resorts offer the Royal Service experience, which spoils guests with certified butler service. At the new Paradisus Cancun — formerly
the Gran Meliá Cancun — YHI Spa’s new IX CHEL Signature Collection of treatments are inspired by traditional Mayan techniques and incorporate invigorating exfoliation methods, healing wraps, and hydrotherapies that use organic herbs, fruits, and flowers. The resort reopened in 2012 after a top-to-bottom reno- vation, and incentive groups can now luxuri- ate in the property’s 668 revamped suites, more than 31,000 square feet of meeting
space, full-service YHI Spa and fitness center, and nine-hole par-3 golf course. YHI Spa at Paradisus Playa del Carmen —
which is split into La Perla resort for adults and La Esmeralda resort for all ages — is offer- ing two new treatments that use the extract of the native agave plant. Whether it’s the 50-minute after-sun treatment or the 80-min- ute anti-aging facial, both replenish the skin after a day on the beach. Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralda and Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla offer 510 and 394 suites, respectively, including more than 60 swim- up suites at each resort.
