Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio, hosted “Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys,” a Muslim literature reading and dis- cussion series that began in Septem- ber and is free to the public. Led by sociology professor Jerry Pankhurst and reference librarian and associ- ate professor Ken Irwin, the series is funded with grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association. It was presented in partnership with the Global Peace and Education Network.
