housing bubble developing again – the latest to warn on this being Mark Carney, the new Bank of England supremo. He noted that the UK Central Bank was “acutely aware” of such a risk and suggested moves that could be taken to reign in a rampant property market if needed. These included asking lenders to restrict borrowing terms, or hold more cash on their balance sheets to dampen down mortgage availability, but did re-iterate that interest rates were set to stay at record lows for at least three years as part of an effort to shore up his flagship ''forward guidance'' statement.
