graphic material from posters and magazines to album sleeves as well as film, photography and documentation of Pop interiors and architecture. Highlights of the exhibition include
Studio 65’s Leonardo sofa which has rarely been exhibited since it was first produced in 1969; Judy Chicago’s spray-painted Car Hood, 1964 and the giant anglepoise floor lamp Molochby Gaetano Pesce of 1970-1. Fifty years after Pop Art exploded
onto the art scene this fascinating exhibition finally gives full recognition to the central role played by design.
