Audio-Technica’s System 10 is a digital high-fidelity wireless system designed to provide performing musicians and presenters with advanced 24-bit operation, easy setup and clear, natural sound quality. Operating in the 2.4GHz range, System 10 is far from TV and DTV interference, and up to eight channels may be used together without any frequency co-ordination problems or group selection issues. System 10 receivers and transmitters offer an easy-to-read digital ID display and ensure clear communications by providing three levels of diversity assurance: frequency, time, and space. Frequency Diversity sends the signal on two dynamically allocated frequencies for interference-free communication; Time Diversity sends the signal in multiple time slots to maximise immunity to multipath interference; and Space Diversity uses two antennas on each transmitter and receiver to maximise signal integrity. System 10 is available in multiple system configurations with handheld vocal microphone/transmitters and UniPak body-pack transmitters designed for use with lavalier, headworn, and instrument microphones as well as electric guitars. Each configuration includes the ATW-R1100 receiver and either a body-pack transmitter or handheld microphone/transmitter. The ATW-R1100 is a digital receiver offering volume control along with AF Peak and Pair indicator lights.

ACT-82 from Mipro is a second- generation encrypted digital wireless system designed to overcome the problems faced by today’s conventional analogue and hybrid wireless microphone systems. ACT-82 is a high-quality digital wireless dual-channel receiver providing clear, secure, and interference-free audio transmission. It features 24-bit audio quality, 10 preset EQs (each consisting of 32 parametric filters), true digital RF transmission, proprietary DigitnamicPlus technology, and full-colour VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display), all housed in a compact 1U case. A wordclock in/out facility is provided to sync digital outputs on the receivers to a central system clock. Digital RF filters offer more sophisticated selectivity to allow better rejection of adjacent
channel interference. The intuitive and accessible controls for easy set-up use a single rotary switch and Mipro ACT (Automatic Channel Targeting) technology for fast channel set-up. Handheld and beltpack transmitters are ergonomically designed and include button lockout options to prevent transmitters being accidentally altered during use. Battery life is eight hours continuous use from a single charge and the battery can be charged in-situ or separately from the transmitter body. Data from the synthesised transmitters can be easily encrypted using a highly secure 128-bit (RC4-derived) encryption system on board the transmitter, thus rendering the system extremely secure for use in sensitive environments.
