accessible parameters, nine individually assignable user buttons, illuminated rotary knobs for a better overview, large trackball buttons, improved snapshot operation thanks to more directly accessible buttons, and a new integrated RTW goniometer or user panel in the overbridge.

ON SCREEN DK-Technologies is set to launch the PT0800 Audio and Waveform Monitor at IBC2013. The video section is flanked by an audio toolbox complete with bargraphs, moving coil emulation, DK’s StarFish display technology, FFT spectrum analysis, and more. In addition, the PT0800 complies with all major broadcast standards and includes loudness and true peak logging. The hardware is modular and allows for input/output choices of AES, HD-SDI, analogue, and Dolby E formats, enabling up to four camera inputs alongside up to 64 audio inputs and 16 outputs, all under preset control. Solid State Logic is to show LMS-

16, a multichannel loudness and true peak metering system for use with

SSL digital broadcast consoles or as a standalone product. SSL will offer NuGen Audio’s MultiMonitor software as part of a system that will provide the software pre-installed and configured on a 1RU PC, fitted with SSL’s MadiXtreme 128 audio interface. An optional monitor arm will also be available to facilitate side mounting of a screen on C100 HDS or C10 HD consoles. TSL Products will introduce the SAM1 3GM+MADI Studio Audio Monitor, which provides multiple source monitoring of up to 20 channels of audio from MADI, embedded HD-SDI, AES, and analogue sources on a user- configurable screen. The SAM1 3GM+MADI features dual auto- sensing at 1080p resolution (60, 59, 94, and 50Hz) through HD/SDI video inputs. De-embedded audio monitoring is possible from the video HD/SDI data stream with selection from up to 16 audio channels in four groups. MADI connectivity is through a single 54/64-channel MADI input/output with coax connections and single-mode or multi-mode fibre option.

LMS-16 – SSL’s multichannel loudness and true peak monitoring system Marshall Electronics will highlight

two 16-channel digital audio monitors with 2RU frames that automatically notify users when signals break loudness regulations with emails and audio and video alarms. The AR-DM2-B and AR-DM2-L should help broadcasters comply with CALM and EBU loudness standards. Each monitor has four slots for interchangeable input/output modules,

plus selectable stereo down-mix modes, Dolby Digital/Dolby E decoding capability (with optional ARDM-D552 module), headphone jack with level control, and an RS-485 port for on-site firmware upgrades. Sony Creative Software will be

offering demonstrations of its products at the show. Attendees can make their way to the Sony Creative Software area of the Sony
